The rooms were spacious and lovely, with en-suite bathrooms, and the internet worked really well. I had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous cottage on a French farm. The hostess was so friendly and helpful, and spoke exceptional English.

Late in the evening, they wouldn't take our family with young children, and the owner turned us away over what they said was a false booking. A terrible experience. Never again.

We had a lovely welcome from the caring owner, with tea and coffee, and the room was neat and cozy. The bed was comfortable, the linens clean, and the shower was nice. Breakfast was excellent: fresh bread and juice, cheese, cold cuts, garden fruit, cottage cheese, and homemade pastries. You can request dinner too. Hagnicourt is a beautiful, quiet little village at the end of a road, with green, hilly surroundings that were great for an evening walk and a bike ride. The B&B is superb for a stopover, though I could happily have stayed longer.

The room was large enough, but we were told having the children there "wasn't allowed." Our reservation had an error, and because our three young children weren't listed, we were denied when we arrived. I've never had that happen before. Outrageous. Don't go here!

Such a peaceful place out in the countryside. People have come to stay here from all over the world, believe it or not. Annick, our hostess, can tell you about them, and outside weekends she can prepare an evening meal if you wish. A must-see if you need to get away from everyday worries... ☺️
