In summer, the shaded terrace in the landscaped garden is such a nice spot to enjoy local produce. The family atmosphere and friendly service make it even better. There’s free parking across the road, and the house is tucked behind the garden in the heart of the village, near the church. It’s both a tea room and a restaurant for typical Norman dishes, and you can buy Norman products too. The chef also works as a blacksmith and makes beautiful decorations. Fabulous!

The tasting platter was wonderful, and they even put on an evening rum tasting. The welcome was perfect, with nothing to complain about. Hidden in a courtyard, the old half-timbered building has a beautiful interior divided between a shop selling gourmet products and a tea room with light meals. I highly recommend it!

We especially loved the vegetarian lasagna, and the owners were friendly. The place is peaceful and charming, with beautiful decor inside and out. The bed and breakfast where we stayed highly recommended Au Vieux Cadran, and we can see why. Definitely worth a visit!

Having tea in the sublime garden is pure bliss, and there’s always a smile to welcome you. I love this timeless place, with its flea market, local-product shops, bed and breakfast, and tea room.
