B&b Hotel Le Havre Harfleur 1

The room felt fresh, with a new bed that let me sleep like a baby. A friendly gentleman looked after us at check-in, and we enjoyed the stay. I'd come back when I'm in the area.

The room door was locked but never sat fully shut, so drafts kept moving it and making more noise. That was on top of a car alarm and loud voices in the corridor all night, and I got only about 30 minutes of sleep. We also had one towel between two people and just one working outlet. I appreciate the low room price, but honestly, don't expect much.

The reception staff were helpful. They suggested securing our bicycles in the cleaners' cupboard and took care of it before we even asked. The room was clean, modern, and thoughtfully laid out. We needed an inexpensive place for two days near Le Havre, and this worked perfectly. We didn't try breakfast, though it looked like good value. I'll look here first next time I need a place to stay while passing through.

The four-bed room has a large double bed and a loft with two smaller beds, which should fit an average adult. Kids may enjoy the loft, and it has a barrier to prevent falls plus a gate that can be locked for very young children. The rooms are small but cozy, and the beds are comfortable, though a bit warm for September. Luckily, there's air conditioning. The bathroom is basic and could use a little maintenance, but nothing that caused a problem.
