The quiet setting was what stood out first. From the hills and Hasparren rooftops outside our stylish, comfortable room, everything felt calm, and time seemed to slow down. The staff were kind from the moment I arrived, and the hotel is beautifully kept. Hotel Argia made for an unforgettable stay, with warm hospitality, lovely views and some of the best meals I’ve had.

The croissants at breakfast were the best I've ever had. Breakfast itself is French and simple, and the other food was great too. The rooms were clean and good, and the pool was great. It's a wonderful place to stay in the Pyrenees, about 30 minutes from the sea, and a great spot for everyone.

The regional food was good, and the pool was lovely. Rooms were clean, quiet and had thoughtful touches, while the price was very reasonable. This is a family owned and run hotel, three generations I think, and the hospitality and staff were excellent. A delight to stay here. The car park entrance could be quite tight for a very large car, though I’m sure they have a solution.

We were breaking up the long drive between Portugal and France and wanted somewhere away from the usual route. This turned out to be just the place. Our group of four loved the mini-apartment, with its two rooms, and we enjoyed the pool and especially the restaurant. It was such a refreshing change to spend a few days in a family-run hotel.

We had a great stay. Whenever we had a request or ran into an issue, the staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us. They made us feel very welcome. Thanks again for everything!
