The owner is very friendly and has excellent suggestions for walks around his property. He puts human contact first; comfort at home is kept to a minimum as part of his life philosophy, so you have to accept that. If that's what you're looking for, stop by. The breakfast was decent, and it was a lovely experience overall. The cottage is charming but could use some maintenance. The rooms feel dated and a bit kitschy, though the bedding is good. In my view, the bathrooms need redoing. The old whirlpool tubs would be better replaced with showers, since showering in a sloped tub means contorting yourself. We don't know the prices here, but the value felt a bit high for the modest amenities.

The host was a charming, very kind gentleman, and breakfast was excellent the next morning. We especially liked the homemade pastries made with products from a nearby farm, and the coffee was very good and served generously. We spent one night in a beautiful, peaceful house, with comfortable bedding. The bathroom was a little dated, but very clean.

Breakfast was generous and convivial, with fresh homemade products, and the bathtub was a real treat after a day out sightseeing. The bathroom is a little small, but that's no problem. The rooms are comfortable and welcoming, with clean sheets and plenty of towels. Staying here feels like stepping back in time, in a beautiful thatched cottage full of old-world charm. The owners are very pleasant and welcoming. It's in a quiet area, 6 km from Dieppe. I'd happily return when I'm next in Normandy, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

We loved our stay! The welcome was warm, and there were lots of thoughtful touches, consideration, and kindness. Our room was spacious, and the bathroom was separate, which didn't bother us. Breakfast was a feast, with homemade cakes and invaluable advice for exploring the region.

If you want a sterile, soulless room, look elsewhere. This cottage has an open fireplace and a personal feel. The elderly lady who welcomes you is discreet and says a few shy words; judging by some reviews, a little humility is in order. The rooms are large and the bathrooms unusual, but the shower water gets very hot. The bedding is perfect, and the sheets are freshly washed and ironed. Breakfast really is a "Grandma Nova" spread 😉: hearty, with homemade cakes, homemade jams, toast, and salted butter.
