The rooms are clean, though very basic, and the price makes that fair enough. It’s a friendly hotel with nice staff, about 5km out of town but handy for the motorways. I’d stay again.

With the place full on a busy weekend, there were no spare rooms when I found the toilet wouldn’t flush, so I had to go to reception about it. The internet was slow, and there wasn’t a restaurant or bar available. It feels pricey for what you get, especially since breakfast costs extra.

The pro race passes right by the hotel the day after the challenge, and there’s a cobbled section just around the corner. I stayed here to compete in the Paris-Roubaix challenge, whose route starts about 3 miles away. It’s a good budget option and well placed.

The food was good and there’s a nice bar area. A lovely little hotel, with a comfortable bed and a very pleasant stay.

After a long day in the saddle, it was clean and warm, and very convenient for the Paris Roubaix finish.
