The breakfasts were a treat, with fresh pastries made at home, and Paulette could also make us a delicious dinner if we asked, using fruit and vegetables from her garden. Paulette and Fernand were a warm, welcoming couple and always available. We loved the spacious property in the heart of France, with its garden and century-old trees. The owners have decorated it thoughtfully in the Belle Epoque style, and the furniture and details fit beautifully with the house and the views. Thanks again for your kindness.

The room was freezing, and the pillows were so large and high that I couldn't rest. Breakfast was good on the first day, but worse the next. The owner charged me 30€ for a drop-off service that wasn't provided. There was no official booking platform, she took cash, and cards weren't accepted. I cancelled the remaining days, but she insisted on charging me for them and wouldn't let me leave. It was a horror. I thought I might have to call the police. Don't go there, the female owner is tricky.

After a long drive, sitting by the pool with aperitifs was a welcome way to unwind, and dinner in the dining room was good. This is a peaceful country B&B just outside Henrichemont, whose village square I love. We received a really friendly welcome, and parking was easy and secure. WIFI was available, though so slow I couldn't make any use of it.

The food was wonderful, and the home is beautiful. Paulette and Ferdnand were excellent hosts. We'd definitely recommend staying here for a perfect holiday.
