The setting is lovely, and our tent pitch was roomy with water nearby. The staff were really friendly and helpful. A couple of practical things could be better: the toilets were clean, but had no seats or toilet paper, and the pool could use more upkeep. Nights were a little chilly around July 22, so if you’re camping in a tent, bring a sleeping bag.

There’s a special feel to the place, tucked among the rocks. It’s a simple campsite with good facilities, and the staff were so helpful when I urgently needed to find coffee ❤️

The covered picnic tables are handy for tent campers, and it’s easy to meet other bikers there and swap tips about routes and future rides. After a tough day on the road, this is a lovely place to recharge. We love it here. You can order coffee and baked goods for a simple breakfast the night before, and the owners are extremely friendly and helpful.

The pool was closed on the 24th, even though the website said it would open on June 23rd, and it’s too shallow for swimming anyway. The toilets also had no seats or paper, which should be included at this price. It’s a nice little campsite, only a few hundred metres from the plan incline, which is worth seeing. But €15 for one cyclist feels expensive when I paid €8 the day before. All in all, it doesn’t justify the price.

There’s an excellent brasserie next door, which was perfect for dinner on a Sunday when the grocery stores were closed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and the grassy pitch was level, with trees and sheltered picnic tables beside the area for small tents. A perfect campground for cyclists. Highly recommended. Beautiful location.
