We felt privileged to stay in this family home rather than a hotel. Its comfort comes from practical choices made by the people who furnished it for themselves, not standardized furniture. The room on the left downstairs took me back to the one I loved falling asleep in as a child. This is a characterful, traditional Breton house, full of magical objects. Beatrice trusts her guests so much that the key is left in the door late into the night, a sign that the old values of hospitality still live on in Herbignac. Her childhood friend and neighbor Gisele now helps her run Maison Jukie, greeting travelers in the morning with a real smile and kindness. She's attentive to what we need, while still being discreet. Beatrice's brother even took time to check that we were completely satisfied. Quality control! It was an unforgettable stay, full of authenticity and family hospitality. Stay: August 2020

I loved the cozy decor, a lovely mix of styles put together by the owner so that nothing felt out of place. The atmosphere was genuinely convivial, and I highly recommend staying here. I was delighted with my four-night stay in this old family home. The welcome was warm, and my room was spotless. It's close to the center of Herbignac and its shops, and about 20 km from the Guérande Peninsula for anyone wanting to visit. Stay: April 14-18, 2022.

The walls are paper thin, and you hear everything, including noise through the parquet floor. There are no shutters or blackout curtains, so car headlights shine into the room. The road outside is busy and noisy, and leaving the window open is impossible. Imagine how that is in hot weather. A very bad experience. Avoid this place, it's easy to find somewhere better, and I absolutely don't recommend it.
