We were heading back from Reigneville-sur-Mer to Magdeburg on our motorcycle in 2018 when bad weather left our tent completely soaked. We needed a bed and hot shower badly. The place was closed because the owners were leaving the next day, but I guess we looked pretty miserable, so they gave us a room at around 8:00 pm. The lady of the house somehow put together a wonderful dinner and a generous breakfast for us too. Thank you so much for that! :))

The room was stiflingly hot, and every step made the wooden floor creak. Towels were rough and mismatched, housekeeping was cursory, and the pillows and blankets had seen better days. The high chair was dusty and dirty. Breakfast was bland and too light, with machine-made bread and brioche, cold coffee, and just 4 pieces of cheese. The friendliness left something to be desired too: breakfast time was imposed, and people were pushed out at 10 a.m. Profitability!!

The breakfast was sumptuous, even though our work commitments meant we had to eat very early. Our host was friendly and clearly very dedicated, and the place was quiet and clean. Just right for a rest and a good night's sleep. Highly recommended accommodation.

They were meant to be closed because they wanted to set off early the next day, but they still rented us a room and even found us a little something to eat. Many thanks to both of them! Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
