Camping La Pindière

The pitches are level and generous in size. It’s a small, well-kept campsite in a village near the main Nantes to Rennes N137 road, with a sizeable SuperU and fuel nearby. The people running it were helpful and friendly.

We had a really relaxing stay. The food in the restaurant was delicious, especially Robert’s tomatoes, and the next-morning bread and pastry order service was great. Do try the pain au raisin. It’s a smallish campsite that welcomes dogs, with lovely hosts who speak English. Bathrooms were super clean and the facilities were good. Thanks!

A lovely, happy place. The family who run the site clearly put their heart into it, and the place is clean, relaxed and welcoming. One of the happiest sites I’ve stayed at. Thank you!

There’s a Super U 500m away, but not much else in town, so out of season you should be ready to cook for yourself. We had a roomy pitch for one night, and it was peaceful. Yes, there’s a road nearby, but it makes the site convenient when heading to the Vendee or Brittany. We got a warm welcome, and the toilet and shower facilities were spotless and excellent. We’ve stayed at 4 star sites without toilet seats or paper, so these stood out. It was quiet at the end of Sept, as you’d expect. We live in France and have camped in lots of places. This one's on our list to revisit.
