B&B Hotel Mulhouse Bâle Aéroport

There’s plenty of room if you’re travelling alone, though sharing means you should be comfortable with the person you’re staying with. The room was spotless and practical, as I’ve found B&B hotels to be. B&B Basel-Mulhouse Airport works well for a night near the airport, especially with a late arrival or an early flight. It’s a standard hotel a fair way from the town centre, so I’m pretty sure you’ll need a car or taxi to get there.

For the price, it suited us well for a few hours before an early flight. We arrived late and were unsure how to get into the parking area, especially since there was no staff around. Once we reached the automated system, though, it worked smoothly and gave us the codes for the parking, hotel, and room. The room wasn’t as soundproof as we’d hoped, with some hall noise, but things were quiet after 11pm. We left early and didn’t see any staff.

The staff made our stay a pleasure. They were really helpful with our onward trip to Strasbourg via Saint Louis station after we’d had trouble getting there: on our first night, a taxi from the Swiss side of the airport cost a lot. The airport shuttle also helped us get around during our family trip to the Christmas markets in Strasbourg and Basel. I hadn’t heard of the brand before booking as a UK resident, but the hotels were comfortable and well priced, and breakfast was welcome. Everything our party needed was covered, and I’d recommend the hotel. We stayed here on the first and last nights of the holiday, with another B&B hotel in between. I like this chain. Just be aware it’s not easy to reach if you’re relying on taxis, buses, or trains. The staff do their best to help when you don’t have a rental car.

We had a lovely stay, and the friendly atmosphere was thanks to the great workers Rustam and Nolhan. They deserve all the praise. The hotel is in a fantastic spot near the airport and not far from the center of Basel. I’d recommend it.
