Domaine de Blangy

We paid 17 euro a night and thought it was very good value. It was really quiet during our stay in early September, and the sanitary blocks were spotless. The showers were second to none. Seems like a great base for cycling too.

Getting into town was pretty easy, and the reception staff were helpful and spoke good English. I stayed for 2 nights. There were plenty of showers and bathrooms, plus good wifi across the place. It’s a really nice campground beside a beautiful river and a small waterfall.

It’s very peaceful here, but there’s nothing within walking distance. We can handle an uneven spot, but the pitches are really steep. The showers are disgusting, some of the worst I’ve ever seen. With covid, I’d be surprised if they’d had a deep clean since the virus started. I’d give this place a miss, guys.

The WiFi didn’t work, and the spot we were allocated was already taken. That spot was sort of flat-ish, though. The site is clean and beautifully situated, but the tent pitches were horrible, with not a single flat place we could find. Good for a caravan or camper, but a no go with a tent.
