La Forge Gourmande

We loved the garden and pool, and the breakfast was generous and amazing, with homemade juice and jam plus local cheese and ham. We didn't get the chance to try the dinner offered at the house, unfortunately. A fantastic spot for a few days.

The garden is a quiet little green haven, and the metal sculptures are beautifully displayed and worth taking a look at. Breakfast was a feast, especially with all the local produce. From the welcome to the room, everything felt just right, with hosts who were there when needed but never intrusive. A place to remember.

The rooms were comfortable and decorated with great taste, and the house itself is a joy to look at. The food was such a treat too, especially the morel cream soup we're still thinking about. I hope you can send us the recipe! We had a wonderful stay and loved discovering the region with your helpful advice. Your warmth, generosity, kindness, and availability made us feel so welcome. My friends had an early start one Sunday, and the owners prepared breakfast for them well ahead of the usual time. Such a thoughtful gesture, and a real sign of how much they care about guests from the moment they arrive. The setting is beautiful, the welcome was friendly, and they did everything they could to make my friends comfortable. I live in Hochstatt and picked the place after its inviting website caught my eye. None of us was disappointed, quite the opposite. Highly recommended.
