La Maison des Palmiers

A lovely breakfast sent us on our way feeling ready for the next leg. We spent one night in quiet Homps while travelling through France, and the charming B&B was comfortable and nicely presented. I'd happily return.

The hosts were so welcoming, gave us great recommendations, and even helped get our bikes fixed. The cats made us feel welcome too. I loved the comfortable beds, the spotless, tidy rooms, and the perfect breakfast. There was a wardrobe door that made a delightful racket, just like one at my father's house. This was our favourite stay on four days and nights along the canal du midi. The beautiful house is well placed, and I was sorry we only had one night. I'll definitely come back.

Being right by the canal in Homps meant several restaurants were only a few steps away. I was there for one night on a Canal du Midi cycling trip, and the owners, who live on site, were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. My room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast came with plenty of fresh baking, local fruit, cheese, and meat.

We finished our canal bike ride in Homps and stayed in this stylish, charming house with a lovely garden. The rooms were clean, and breakfast was wonderful. We ate outside in the garden. Matt was a very helpful host, and I'd love to return for more than one night.
