Best Western Eden Spa

The staff were friendly and breakfast was very good. The hotel was quiet during our November visit, which we appreciated, and we could open the window. The bed was very comfortable. The carpet seemed a poor fit for a hotel with so much foot traffic. More concerning, the toilet and shower door weren’t clean. I took a photo and am sharing it to help the place improve, since it should be spotless. We stayed one night while travelling through the area.

The room was very nice, but we won’t be staying at this hotel again. The spa was inconvenient to get to without bathrobes. The sauna wasn’t working on Saturday, and the hammam wasn’t working on Sunday. Guests should check before leaving the spa in their swimsuits, but staff should also be available to help. We were in Honfleur for the weekend of January 31 to February 1 and stayed one night.

The spa was a lovely extra, and breakfast came with plenty of fresh food. The hotel is modern and well equipped, with spacious rooms and large beds.

We’d stayed here twice before the takeover and were very happy with both visits, so we were glad to come back to the area. This time, though, we were very disappointed. The changing rooms smelled strongly, the showers were moldy, and towels had been left in the showers and in the lockers, which were in a deplorable state. The pool was cold, so we didn’t swim, and the steam room couldn’t be used because its button was broken. We won’t be coming back.
