The room was tiny, so small you could barely move on the toilet, and it was falling apart. The carpet was filthy, the walls had holes and water damage, and there was mold in the bathroom. No hairdryer, and the shower head was too short. Its wall bracket was broken too. I've had better stays at a Formula 1 or Ibis than at this 4-star hotel. Truly scandalous. We chose a pricier hotel because the information said the sauna was free. On arrival, we were told it was only “free” if we booked an expensive massage, at least €65 for 25 minutes. We booked two massages at €65 each so we could use the sauna, paying €130 in total. After 15 minutes, a woman came in and told us it was closing and we had to leave. We changed quickly, and while we were going to pay, she asked whether we wanted to tip her 15% or 20%. No thanks. With those prices, how could she ask that after kicking us out after 15 minutes? The so-called heated pool was too cold to enjoy. We wondered why nobody was using it, then found out when we got in. Check-in isn't until 6:00 PM, and they won't give you a key earlier. With full board, you can only join from dinner on arrival, and only breakfast is included on the last day.

We wouldn't eat here again if we returned. We were on half board, but the choices leaned heavily vegetarian, and one night there was no meat or fish at all, with no warning beforehand. The rooms were clean, though quite small, and the bathroom seemed dated. The location was a real plus, with proper ski-in/ski-out access. It's a nice hotel in a good spot, just not one where we'd choose to dine again.

The staff were kind, and they're the only reason I can give this one star. My family and I spent a week here in December for a ski vacation, and the repeated problems made it an awful, frustrating experience. We were in two double rooms with a connecting door. The key cards kept failing, and I went to reception about eight times, not counting my family's visits. Each time I was told they were fixed, but usually they still didn't work, or stopped again after an hour. Around the third day, the manager came up to investigate and said the door itself was faulty and a technician would fix it soon. The technician came, but nothing changed. We got new keys, and they worked unpredictably, sometimes in the morning but not an hour later. Hot water was another recurring problem. We had none in the showers on arrival after a day of travel. We hoped it would be back the next day, but it wasn't. After skiing and sweating all day, there was still no hot water when we got back. It took about an hour and a half to fix that time, and the problem came back during the vacation. In the mornings, sink water could be so scalding it couldn't be touched or adjusted. One shower's temperature couldn't be regulated at all, so three of us had to use the other shower one after another. The rooms were cramped enough that my roommate and I kept banging into furniture. The radiators only came on at night, leaving the room cold during the day. One evening I found a dead bug in the pasta I ate in the dining room. Getting back to the hotel from skiing also meant walking up an incline with our gear. Our trip was arranged through an organization, so about 100 people were checking out together at 5:30 in the morning. A representative asked for coffee and something simple to eat before the journey, which didn't seem like a big request after all the problems, but it was refused. The lobby lights weren't even on, and we waited for our buses in the dark. We were lucky the rest of the vacation was amazing, so the hotel didn't ruin all of it, but I can't promise others will be as fortunate.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, though renting gear took forever because only one person was handling the equipment and each customer took time. Skiset’s in-house rental was low quality, and the upgrade options weren't appealing. Since I'd already paid, I stuck with it, but otherwise I'd rent elsewhere. The location is the one good thing. It's relatively close to the Les Bregres area, mostly suited to skiers, but it isn't really ski-in/ski-out like a normal hotel. The rooms are old and tiny. Three of us were squeezed into a 15m room with barely enough space for luggage. The bed was the worst I've slept in: the mattress was small, my legs hung off at 179cm, and it sagged. For 1-2 hours on two days in a row, there was no hot water. After a full day skiing, not being able to shower properly was miserable, and we got no compensation. The food was mostly edible, but low quality and limited in variety. Thankfully, there was always good pizza so we didn't go hungry. Full board sounds tempting, but it isn't worth it. I wouldn't recommend this place and would look for alternatives.
