Camping du Bois Fleuri

We arrived ahead of time and the receptionist/owner came out, showed us to a lovely shady pitch straight away, and offered alternatives in case we didn’t fancy it. The place was even better than the description. The facilities building is spacious, modern and unisex, and there’s a big shared shady spot with seats and hammocks. A cycle path leads into town.

The kids had lots to do here, from the trampolines and swings to the pool. The campsite feels open and roomy, with plenty of trees around it and a really calm atmosphere. We had a fantastic family stay and I’d happily recommend it for a family getaway.

We only stopped for one night on the way back, but next time we’ll stay longer. Even though we got in late, we could still order a really good pizza. Our tent pitch was roomy, with soft grass and no stones underfoot, and the washrooms were very clean. It’s a huge site with plenty to do, a camper’s dream.

The pitches are nice and flat, and camping under the trees in the summer heat was a pleasure. Everything felt welcoming, so I’d stop again if I’m passing through. There’s a handy little shop and a pizzeria, and you can get a good beer, another drink or ice cream. Staff were very pleasant, and the showers and toilets were really clean. The campsite has a good atmosphere.
