The outside didn’t give much away, but inside it was a warm, spotless and charming place. We had a family room for me, my husband and our 11-year-old daughter. It was roomy, thoughtfully arranged, and had space for luggage. The bathroom was surprisingly large, with everything provided and working properly. The shower was spotless, with strong pressure and lots of hot water, and the bed was so comfortable with crisp, fresh linen that we slept like a dream. Breakfast was fresh, generous, tasty and good value. The owners and team were genuinely friendly and helpful, and the place has an old-fashioned guesthouse feel, on a larger scale, with care put into things. It was easy to reach and peaceful. This is a lovely, family-friendly budget stay I’d be happy to return to. I didn’t post photos because they wouldn’t capture the experience. THANK YOU ☺️

The decor is a bit dated, but don’t let that put you off. The people, the service and the breakfast were all lovely. I’d come back.
