We arrived to a room that reeked of cigars, and it was only a little better the next day. There weren’t any other rooms available to switch to. The following day, in a different room, somebody had been smoking weed, so the smoke detectors don’t work. The rooms were cold, and we had to run the AC to get warm air. Wi-Fi was really slow too.
The team were amazingly kind, friendly, and helpful. The renovated room was in very good shape, and parking was easy and reasonably priced. A tram stop beside the hotel goes straight to the city center. A few things could be better: the bathroom had no facial tissues, and the pillows weren’t comfortable for us, though that’s personal. At breakfast we found only cherry tomatoes, so a few more vegetables would be nice.
A tram right by the hotel makes getting into Strasbourg easy, so it’s a great base for a visit. There’s a garage with EV chargers, plus a locked area for storing bicycles. I’d highly recommend it.
The restaurant really stood out, with delicious food, a welcoming atmosphere, and terrific service from Jeremy, Gerardo, and Tristan. The receptionists were also friendly and helpful, and the facilities were all top quality. Great service throughout, highly recommended.
We picked this dog welcoming hotel partly for its direct tram link to the city centre, and there are some great places to eat nearby too. Our room was quiet, if a bit small. The price and quality make it worth recommending. We did have a couple of disappointments: the steam sauna wasn’t working when we used the spa, and nobody told us the hotel restaurant would be closed for 90% of our stay.
