Aux Comtes de Hanau

I only stopped in for a drink at this little French restaurant and hotel, but the staff were friendly.

The restaurant is a lovely, distinctive place with the kind of charm of France we like. The tarte flambée was very good, and the kidneys and veal were delicious too. The desserts were excellent as well. Our room was spacious and clean, though a bit dated, and breakfast was very good. The welcome was friendly and easygoing. It's centrally located, about 15 minutes from the Royal Palace. Nothing to complain about, and good value for money. Thanks for the warm welcome and relaxed atmosphere.

I didn't stay at the hotel, so this is just about the restaurant. It's spacious and pleasant, without much noise, and still felt cosy despite its size. The service was friendly, quick, and efficient, and the meal was very good and nicely presented. We would have liked a fresh side salad with the salmon, fresh mushrooms with the veal, and less basic fries. The food felt semi-homemade overall, but it was well prepared and cooked perfectly, so we can forgive that. It's worth a visit, and I recommend it. Thanks to the restaurant team for a pleasant evening.

We felt right at home here, and the welcome was wonderfully warm, especially after arriving from the south 😂. The breakfast was good quality, though a few more local options might be nice. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Thanks for the kind gesture of letting our son have breakfast for free. Opening the door to our room was such a nice surprise. I hadn't expected it to be so huge, and it was great for a family night. I would have loved to stay longer. We really enjoyed our time with you. From Marseilles, staying with you ;)
