The restaurant across the road was great, and the location worked well for our drive back to the UK. Our room was spacious, which helped with the dogs, and the hotel was quiet overnight. But the bed was uncomfortable, with a very thin mattress, and breakfast was so limited that it didn't feel worth the price. Arriving was stressful. We came in carrying bags with our two dogs and were met by a large dog with no collar, rushing around and knocking furniture over. I assumed a resident had let their dog roam loose. When we finally reached the desk, the receptionist said nothing. We then found out it was her dog, and the whole scene had upset ours. At £80 a night, I don't think this was worth it.

We had breakfast before setting off early, and the restaurant across the road was great. Parking was easy, the room was good, and they catered for our dog too. The manager did everything they could to help us.

It's a really small place, and the bed was filthy and covered in hair. There were children screaming and a dog barking, so honestly, I slept better in my car. There's nothing nice I can say about this place. If you have a little time, look elsewhere. Trust me, it's not worth the money unless you're desperate or have no other options.

We've stayed here three times and have been happy each time, so we'll come back. The hotel is smart and clean, with shops nearby and two restaurants within walking distance. For our trip, it was on the right side of Rouen for getting the ferry back to the UK. The staff are amazingly helpful and polite. I'd definitely recommend it to travellers.

We'd definitely come back. The room was spotless, and the receptionist was friendly and incredibly helpful.
