SOWELL HÔTELS Le Pas du Loup

There are restaurants, bars, a pharmacy, shops, and rentals all together, so you don't even need to go outside to get to them. The food selection was great, and the lifts are right by the hotel for skiing straight in and out. Downstairs there's a place to leave boards and skis, with the boots drying overnight. The room heaters worked well and the showers were properly hot. We had a great time.

The food was outstanding, with something different each day, and the staff were incredibly helpful. We loved every part of our stay at the Sowell hotel, including its convenient location near Nice and easy access to the lifts and slopes. This was our first visit to the ski resort, and it definitely won't be the last.

The people working here were incredibly friendly, chatty, and helpful. It stood out from some of my other stays in the French alps. We had a standard room that was fine for the price, and an all-inclusive deal with plenty of food variety that was generally very good. The location is lovely, right on the piste near the top of the resort. Space is a bit tight in some shared areas, so sometimes it was hard to find a seat for a drink, and the boot room is tiny. Even so, it's a great, easy, low-stress hotel option in the resort.

We had a nice stay and plan to come back. The rooms were clean, and our balcony had a great view. You can step onto the ski slope from the hotel's terrace, which is really handy. We booked all-inclusive, and I can recommend it: the food, drinks, and service were good. The one drawback is having to take off your ski boots to get a drink at the bar for the ski terrace. Otherwise, I'd give it five stars.
