Pierrot was an incredibly welcoming and friendly host. He also knows restaurants nearby and can reserve a table if you want. The area is beautiful, though driving up the mountain from the west can be quite challenging. I'd suggest taking the north-east side instead. All around, a great experience.

The host pointed us toward a lovely walk in the hills behind the house. It was a real pleasure to connect with nature and ourselves along the way. There's plenty to visit in the surrounding area, too. We enjoyed the warm welcome, nice pool, and classic continental breakfast, and plan to come back for another escape.

The room was much too expensive for its quality. My husband and I stayed one night in November and were given a room where the toilet wasn't fully enclosed, which was unpleasant, especially because of the smells. There was also such a strong tobacco smell that it clung to our clothes and bags. The hosts got up at 6:00 AM, and since their living room was right beside our room, we could hear everything they said and did.

Pierre Yves made our short visit all the more enjoyable. He was attentive, available, and so welcoming. The place itself is peaceful, very quiet, and perfectly located.
