The food was fresh, delicious, beautifully presented, and local. The restaurant is fantastic, so I'd book a table ahead. At l’Auberge du Petit Mas, the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, with the kind of attention to detail that made me feel at home. Merci Rachelle, Cedric!

The prices are very reasonable, and there's a fair choice of local dishes as well as pizzas. We hoped to stop for a quick lunch, but the place was so popular, and being there on a Sunday meant a long wait to be served. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.

The service was quick and pleasant, and I'd definitely return. I tried the Auvergne platter, which came with gratinéed pigs' feet with St Nectaire, truffafes, prosciutto, and green salad. It was really good and great value. The menu also has charcuterie, grilled meat, pizzas, and pigs' feet. The fresh red fruit tart, strawberry that day, was good, though the strawberries could have been fresher.

We had dinner here on a cold, wet, windy night, and the place felt so warm and inviting. The staff were lovely, and that vegetarian pizza was the best I've ever had. We finished with cafe gourmand. A real gem, and a great evening.

We went to the restaurant for dinner. It's really popular, so you'll need to book. Getting there closer to 7 p.m. seems to mean faster food service.
