La villa des cannes

Our room was huge and had all the amenities we needed, and the house is beautifully designed. Sandrine’s background working in several 5* hotels really shows in the service, which consistently goes beyond expectations. She’s also a certified chef, and breakfast is delicious and creatively varied. Sandrine and Christophe, along with Snoopy, are wonderful hosts. It’s a hidden gem for travelers who want to avoid a generic hotel chain but still enjoy well-equipped rooms and great service. We can only recommend it, and we’ll definitely stay again if we return to La Reunion. Much love to our hosts, Trevor & Benjamin

We had just one day at this villa, but loved every minute and would have stayed longer if we could. Since my partner has an intolerance, they even made gluten-free bread at home for breakfast. Sandra and Christoph are lovely hosts, well traveled and great company for an interesting chat. We didn’t have a local SIM card, so they kindly called a restaurant and booked us a table for dinner.

Lovely people and a beautiful place. Breakfast included a special homemade cake or dessert, plus really good fresh fruit. There’s private parking and a pool, too. Say hello to snoopy!

The room was beautiful and large, and there’s a nice garden with a pool. It rained almost the whole time, so we didn’t get to experience the pool. Breakfast was good, though of course you pay for it. Be careful on the slippery “stairs” between the parking spot and garden when it’s wet.
