We were travelling from Spain to Calais, and this was a well-located halfway stop. The air conditioning is useless, just a fan behind the wall with a grille on it. There's no kettle either. I dread to think what an Ibis Budget hotel is like.

A good experience for the price. The rooms are comfortable and clean, with the facilities you need, but don't expect much luxury. Breakfast was decent for about 11 euros, and the private parking was good too. There's a shopping mall and a few places to eat nearby. Handy if you're travelling through.

The staff were friendly, the car park was secure, and the pizza at dinner was great with a local beer. It made for a pleasant evening. The room was clean, and breakfast had a good selection, though the scrambled eggs weren't very good and the sausage was nice. There was some noise at first from kids in cars at the nearby supermarket, but it stopped by 11 p.m.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. I struggle with French, but some of them spoke English. I was here for a friend's wedding. Thanks so much, I'll be starting again if I end up in Issoire.

My husband and I stayed here on our way to Spain and were really disappointed. We're both disabled, and when we showered the water wouldn't drain away, making the floor very slippery. The place looked tired, and it cost €88.
