The room was clean and pleasant, and the food was good. A little gem between Verdun and Bar-le-Duc, with really friendly staff.

We had a delicious dinner, then slept comfortably in a warm room. The location was very quiet, and the welcome was friendly. It ticked every box for an overnight stop on the way, and we’ll definitely come back.

The food was the best we’ve had here since our visit last year. Nicholas is so creative with the menu, he deserves a Michelin star, and Emmanuelle is charming and helpful. Our young waitress was professional and kept smiling throughout. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable, with a very good shower. This was our second visit, and we’re already planning to return next year. The owners’ friendliness and the quality of the food are what make the place stand out.

We only found this place last year, otherwise we’d have stayed here more often while travelling to Europe. The comfortable rooms are nice, but the restaurant and service are what stand out. Nicolas is an outstanding, amazingly creative chef who deserves a Michelin star. Emmanuelle is a perfect hostess, and the waitress is cheerful and attentive. This was our second visit, and we’re looking forward to coming back next year.
