A lovely walk nearby was a great part of our stay, and breakfast was good. We spent the night in a very comfortable room. We arrived rather late in the afternoon, and the kind owners let us and our dog use the breakfast room and kitchen for our picnic, since there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity. It’s a beautiful property in the middle of the French countryside, perfect for hunting.

Our hostess made us a simple but excellent supper on short notice the evening we arrived. She was delightful, warm, and friendly throughout. The room was simple but immaculately clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this property, which sits in a beautiful rural setting with easy access to the Sancerre wine region. Marie was a perfect host. The evening meal was light, just right, and came with an excellent wine.

There are plenty of walks through the surrounding countryside and woods, and the setting is beautiful. Our hostess was warm and friendly, and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was excellent and served in the main house, which is very well appointed with every facility you could want. Definitely a five-star experience.

We stay at this delightful chambres d’hôtes regularly when visiting friends near Sancerre. The lovely family who run it make it feel familiar each time. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated in traditional styles. After a hearty walk in the neighbouring woods, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the beautiful gardens is a real treat. Thoroughly recommended.
