The location was a mixed bag. Carrefour is nearby, but as a non-local I found the area a bit iffy, and the mall smelled of urine. Transport connections were poor: there's no nearby metro, and bus delays on my second day made me 40 minutes late for work. I switched to Dott ebikes, which worked out fine. The hotel is beside a school playground, but the kids only went out around 10:30 a.m., when I was usually already gone. In the room, things seemed to be broken in one way or another. The electrics were coming out of the walls, the shower head was limp and I had to fix it myself, the heater was crooked, the plumbing was very noisy, and the curtains were disgusting. At least I think it was clean. An alarm went off at 11:50 p.m. once and rang for about half an hour. Room cleaning is weekly. After the first cleaning, I wasn't given fresh towels, and whether I got a dish towel seemed random. I had to take some from the lingerie myself. The internet kept dropping and reconnecting, making it nearly impossible to work. Make sure you know the entry code. Other reviews suggest that used to be a problem, though there's now a digital check-in kiosk that gives you a key card. You can also get replacement cards by entering your name and room number, which seems like a worrying security issue. Mediocre stay. You can get by, but I'd avoid it unless there are no other options.

The rooms are good, and the hotel is well connected by public transport. Even if you arrive at night after reception closes at 7 p.m., you can still get into the hotel. The staff are very helpful, and it really is good value for money.

We came to Paris on a budget, hoping to save on a hotel and walk to central sights like the Eiffel Tower. But the hotel was about a two-and-a-half-hour walk from there, which was unreasonable, and the area felt unsafe at night. We couldn't walk back in the evening, so we ended up spending around €80 a day on Uber rides. That defeated the point of choosing a budget stay. The metro was an option, but took too long and didn't solve the distance problem. At check-in we were surprised by a €150 deposit that we'd never been told about in advance. We had limited funds, so it caused serious trouble. Communication was difficult because the receptionist didn't speak English well, and we couldn't properly understand the situation. We were also told breakfast was included in the price, but no breakfast was provided during our stay. The room was extremely small and not worth what we paid. Towels weren't changed by housekeeping, so we used the same ones throughout. The hidden costs, poor communication, and low-quality service made the whole experience disappointing and stressful. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and improves.

When we checked out, staff tried to charge us for a broken sink and even showed us a picture of one, although we hadn't broken it. The room was dirty and looked worse than the photos. We also struggled to get our key after arriving once reception had closed. We would have been stuck without help from students living there. Reception isn't open much and only starts working at 10 a.m. The hotel felt very isolated, the area didn't feel safe, and we weren't comfortable. The whole place smelled bad because students ate noodles from the vending machine. I'd definitely spend more for a better hotel closer to the center.

Buses 25 and 325 run every 10 to 15 minutes and make it easy to get to the train station.
