The village was quiet and lovely to wander around. Our receptionist was incredibly helpful too. He went out of his way to sort out a problem with a shop in the other town where we’d stayed the night before, then drew us a map so we wouldn’t get lost.

There are trails for an easy or moderate walk once you reach the lake, and the lake itself is beautiful. We parked at the base camp at 2400m, then walked about 20 minutes to get there. A great spot to spend the day if you enjoy being outdoors and hiking.

Rode all the way from Bordeaux, but there was nobody there and nothing open.

The staff were really helpful, and the place was clean and comfortable. I’d stay here again.
