We had a great stay, and the owner was an absolute delight. The rooms are spacious and nicely equipped, and breakfast was delicious. Right in the town center, the hotel also makes it easy to enjoy a walk or run along the river. I’d happily come back.

The rooms were consistently lovely, and the owner showed us around all of them. She’s a delight and clearly cares about both the property and her guests. This chic, beautifully renovated historic building sits right in the center of charming Jarnac. Breakfast has plenty of lovely French-style choices. I’m a fan of boutique hotels, and this one was a real treat. I’d urge everyone to give it a try!

There’s a little garden courtyard where you can sit with a coffee and enjoy the countryside, and breakfast in the morning is simple and lovely. The rooms were clean, quiet, and a good size, with comfortable beds. A lovely place to stay in quaint Jarnac, home of Courvoisier cognac.

We had a fantastic stay after the proprietor went out of her way to help us when other accommodation had badly let us down at the last minute. The hotel has a chic, tasteful feel, with lovely decor, spacious rooms and bathrooms, and super comfortable beds. Hotel Ligaro is a real asset to Jarnac. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it or come back.
