The house stayed fairly cool even on hot days, and we spent our time at the nearby lake, which was great. There isn’t much to do around here, but that was just what we wanted. The Airbnb was nice, though the TV didn’t work.

Far too expensive for the poor impression it left. The grounds looked neglected, with broken furniture, no upkeep and dried-out potted plants. Inside, the beds were very poor and there was no soundproofing. There was no shower curtain, no separate toilet, no toilet in the living room and no Wi-Fi. The kitchen had dirty dishes in the cupboards and a dirty dishwasher filter. The dining area window wouldn’t close, and there was no card for the bins. The listing also doesn’t say the accommodation is upstairs. With dangerous stairs, it’s unsuitable for children.

The cottage is very pleasant, and the owner is attentive and kind. It could use more finishing touches, though. The parking area is small and easy to miss, on a very narrow street.

Renovated very well and equipped just right for children. Just be careful if you’re bringing great-grandparents, as there are lots of stairs.
