La Bastide Neuve (Adults Only)

Beatrice made our trip special with her kindness and local tips, from wineries to markets. Breakfast in the sunny garden was delicious, with baguette, fruit, nuts, local jogurt, coffee, and more on request. The room was comfortable, spacious, and beautifully decorated, and the view from the window was a dream. We loved the stone walls and sycamore in the garden, and this charming bastide made for an authentic French holiday in the heart of Provence. The service was excellent. If you want a real taste of Provence’s warmth and charm, this is a must.

Beatrice was the hostess with the “mostess,” warm, caring, welcoming, and accommodating, and an amazing cook. We still miss her breakfasts. With only 4 or so guest rooms, the stay felt special and exclusive, and the place had that quaint yet luxurious “home, sweet home” feeling. We loved the pool, which was long enough for laps, and the beautiful courtyard tree buzzing with cicadas in the hot summer months. Gordes and Rousillion were visible from the property, and other towns were just 15 or 20 minutes away by car. We loved the food, wine, and sights around Provence, but this stay was our favorite part of four nights here. We wished we could have stayed longer. We had zero complaints, and would recommend it for an authentic, relaxing stay.

Bea is a generous, wonderful host, and her food is to die for. The ambience is unbeatable. Perfect for a solo trip or a family vacation, and I’ve never seen a home stay like it.

A long, lovely pool overlooking the lavender fields and excellent breakfasts, with a different culinary surprise each day. The house is magnificent and decorated with exquisite taste, with everything thought through to make the stay feel perfect. Thank you so much, Beatrice. We’d happily come back.
