The meal was a real highlight. The restaurant was closed on Tuesday, but the owner and chef checked for allergies and dislikes before making guests a delicious four-course table d'hôte dinner. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with a super comfy bed. It was easy to take the dog for a walk straight from the hotel, too. A great place to stop on the way back to the UK from the south, and we'd stay again if we're travelling this route.

Whenever I come home, we like to eat at Tilia. The place feels inviting, the staff are welcoming, and the menu changes with the seasons. I was baptized at the church nearby when I was two, so it has a special connection for me. We had Valentin as our server, and he was courteous and knew the dishes very well. The food was top notch, and you can sit outside or indoors in a lovely, quiet setting. I'd recommend it to anyone after a restful meal with excellent service.

We didn't get a chance to have dinner, but the chef's training under famous French chefs makes me think it must be wonderful. The hotel itself is a gem, with a beautiful restaurant and a grand breakfast. The staff were lovely, the rooms were perfect, and it was so quiet that we slept really well. I'd be very happy to return.

A lovely little village and a hotel with great attention to detail, from the rooms to the restaurant and the service. Customer service was excellent, and the value for the price was top notch.

The dinner was great, and the rooms were excellent. Breakfast was less pleasant, though: there was what looked like a maggot or worm on the chocolate cake. I understand bugs can be hard to keep away in summer, but a small reduction on the breakfast bill would have been nice.
