Le Mas de la Corniche

The place was spotless, and Eddy was attentive, easy to reach, and flexible. We were 12, children included, spending four days at Ascension for my partner's 40th birthday, and it worked so well for a relaxed, fun get-together. The pool, outdoor shower, and boules court beside it were a hit, as were the ping pong table and shaded little dining spot. The summer kitchen has a dartboard, and there's a barbecue/plancha grill. Inside, the big kitchen had plenty of plates, cutlery, dishes, and salad bowls for cooking for a crowd. Nearly every bedroom has its own bathroom, too. There was so much else to enjoy. We loved it all and would happily come back. Truly ideal, and I highly recommend it.

We've been renting villas for our holidays since 2003, usually as two or four couples, and Mas de la Corniche in Joyeuse is easily the best place we've stayed in. The photos are accurate, though seeing it in person is even better, and the price is very reasonable for what you get. Eddy was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Eddy really looks after his guests. He's available, very attentive, and has lots of good tips for seeing the region he loves. He also runs fantastic quad biking trips, which are a must. The house itself is superb and fully equipped, with nothing missing, just as described and shown in the photos. Great for two families, or 8 people.

The Easter egg hunt was a big hit with the kids, with so many good hiding spots. We made lovely memories there. The house, summer kitchen, and furnished outdoor areas were cosy and thoughtfully laid out. We spent a wonderful week at this beautiful place in a lovely region, and the welcome was warm.
