Breakfast was very good, served in a beautiful room, and the town felt friendly and lovely. We had a fun evening there even though both restaurants were closed; one took pity on us and made a delicious salmon dinner. Denise runs the place well, and we'd happily recommend it. On our bicycle tour, we stayed one night in a charming, cozy room with enough space for both of us and all our bike panniers. There was a kettle, a small fridge with milk for my tea, and a coffee maker for my husband.

The gardens beside the river were gorgeous and peaceful, just right for relaxing away from city life. Inside, the romantic room felt comfortable and spotless, with thoughtful, tasteful decor. Breakfast came in a lovely dining room, with fresh croissants and orange juice, plus fruit and cheese. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

It’s about a five-minute walk to the castle, and there are several hiking trails close by. We were warmly welcomed by our hostess, enjoyed an excellent breakfast, and loved the garden overlooking the river.

We only stayed briefly, but I’d gladly come back if I get the chance. Denise gave us a warm, attentive welcome, and breakfast had clearly been prepared with care. The location felt like a dream, and our room was spotless and tastefully decorated. Everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
