L'orée des plages

For 20 euros, breakfast was mostly cake, with not much else. I’d skip it and try a local cafe down the road instead.

The warm welcome from Mael made a lovely start to our stay. He went over what we needed for a comfortable visit and suggested places to see and restaurants. Mr. and Mrs. Delater were just as welcoming, friendly and attentive to both guests and staff, which feels rare these days. Our room with a spa bath was exceptionally comfortable, quiet and spotless. The bathroom was pleasant and very clean, with a spacious walk-in shower. The sheets and pillows were perfectly white, and the bathroom linens were spotless too. The whole hotel was kept exceptionally clean, including the restaurant, where everything was neatly arranged. Even the bread and pastries were handmade. Breakfast had plenty of variety and fresh, high-quality products, with nothing lacking. There’s a large parking lot and a park where you can relax after a walk, and the surrounding area was exceptionally clean as well. The hotel has wheelchair access. We stayed at L'Orée des Plages for two days. Its location was great for exploring town and the seaside, only 850 meters away. The views by the sea were breathtaking, with magnificent waves at the end of the day and a beautiful sunset. We left the region with real regret, having wanted for nothing. We’ll be very happy to return to Hôtel l’Orée des Plages. We highly recommend it, as it deserves more than its 3 stars. The value for money is excellent for what’s offered.
