La Ferme du Père

The owner was lovely and gave us useful tips about the area. The building was beautiful, warm, and had all the amenities we needed. There were also bicycles and a proper pétanque court.

Dogs are welcome, and there’s plenty for children too: toys, a high chair, stair gate, potty, and baby bath. The cottage was super comfortable, with made beds and towels provided. We felt at home straight away, thanks in part to the warm welcome and the cider, madeleines, and jams left out for us. Books, outdoor games, a pétanque court, and bikes were there to use. Fresh baguette was delivered to the door each morning, and pastries could be requested. Superb!

We’ve stayed here four times in the summer now and have been very happy each visit. It’s peaceful, with a big garden to play in, a vegetable patch guests can use, bikes, and playground equipment. The host is friendly, helpful, and speaks good English. A baguette is left at the door every morning. Inside, the two floors have a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and utility room downstairs, plus a large main bedroom and children’s room upstairs. The kitchen is very well equipped, with a dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer.

I hardly ever leave reviews, but I felt I had to for this rental. The cottage is perfect, and our week away turned into much more than a vacation. The owner is so generous, making the stay a real chance to meet and share. Thank you again, and don’t hesitate!
