Pax & Amor - Boutique B&B

We liked the studio and spent plenty of time enjoying the pool and the lovely views from the terraces. The dinners were an unexpected treat, Jakob is a top chef. Since vineyards surround Pax et Amor, it’s a great base for day trips, and Jakob and Eefje gave us lots of helpful suggestions. They’re fantastic hosts, and we enjoyed our stay so much that we extended it.

The dinners kept drawing us back, even though we’d planned to try other restaurants nearby. Jakob cooked fresh local ingredients beautifully, and the desserts were some of the best we’ve ever had, an easy 11/10. We stayed in a studio at Pax et Amor Chambres et Tables d'hôtes in July. After our long journey, we arrived very late and were still greeted in person with warmth and patience. The friendly couple clearly care about their work. We slept wonderfully on soft cotton sheets, loved the wooden floors, and could hear the nearby church bell. Between the quiet and the views, the place felt incredibly peaceful. We left rested and inspired. Pax et Amor has its own character and personal feel, and was an unforgettable stay.

Jakob and Eefje hosted my family for a private lunch on their terrace at Pax et Amor, and we all had a wonderful afternoon. Jakob served a delicious, thoughtfully planned three-course meal, with special care for my two young daughters. I’d highly recommend spending a holiday there or sharing a meal with them.

Really enjoyed our stay at this great B&B. The rooms are well appointed, and Eefje and Jacob are very friendly. They’re always around with information or up for a nice chat.
