The river was a lovely part of the stay: a short walk down leads to a little beach where you can swim, and there’s canoe rental in a nearby village. You can also ask to be dropped off or collected for walks on the local hiking routes. Back at La Libaudié, there are plenty of places to sit in sun or shade, plus a small pool for cooling off. The gîte and rooms are roomy and well equipped, and breakfast was phenomenal, with lots of choice. We had a wonderful time last weekend. The mini-camping is charming too, with great facilities including a stove, washing machine and fridge.
