La Chambre du Ressac

I could only book one night because it’s so popular, which was a shame. The room was lovely, the bed was excellent, and the little terrace was such a relaxing spot. We were welcomed so warmly, and breakfast in the greenhouse was the perfect extra touch. It was worthy of a five-star hotel. I’d definitely recommend it.

The house and garden felt so comfortable, and the thoughtful details made the stay special: flowers, a small guide to places to visit, and breakfast served impeccably. And the breakfast itself was quite something, from the food to the tableware and presentation. Paul and Bertrand were lovely, professional hosts, clearly passionate and meticulous. Thank you for such a lovely time.

A very peaceful place, just right for relaxing. Our host was welcoming and attentive, always ready to help, while respecting our privacy. Breakfast was served based on the choices we made from a list each day. Thank you for a great stay.

Paul's advice made our visit: we walked around the port of Pornic at sunset and ended up eating mussels and fries by the Ressac. Yum! We also followed his suggestion to take a longer beach walk with friends beyond Les Moutiers, where we admired all the fishing weirs. We were two friends staying for two nights for a family gathering in Les Moutiers, and this peaceful, beautiful place was a real treat. Paul and Bertrand welcomed us so warmly, and the cat too. Breakfast was wonderful as well. We’d love to come back to recharge and see the new greenhouse, though sharing the address might make it harder to book! Thanks again, and give the cat a cuddle from us.
