Auberge Des Skieurs

We had booked at the last minute for one night, so there wasn't much choice. The rooms could do with a refurb, and judging from the pictures I probably wouldn't usually have booked here. But it was very clean, and the welcome was really friendly. The food was exceptional value. We were more than surprised by how good it tasted, how nicely it was presented, and how friendly the service was. They list the local shops they buy from by the entrance. We had an apéritif, starter, main, dessert and espresso, with wine, and paid a bit over 60€. Given the quality, presentation and service, we were very impressed. I'd definitely recommend stopping here for lunch or dinner if you're in the area. I also can't say enough about how well they followed the Covid-19 regulations, especially given the situation at the time. They sanitised their hands before every interaction with us and disinfected the card machine before we used it. We also saw them disinfecting all the surfaces, including the chairs and tables. We'd definitely eat here again!

The fish was as fresh as it could be, taken straight from their pond. The food was excellent, and the owners personally look after their guests.

The owner is so friendly and helpful. Excellent food and fantastic service, highly recommended.

It's a pretty ordinary hotel, and the room was very small. At least it's well located, about 10 minutes from the ski station.
