John Weaver makes guests feel at ease, with flexible check-in and check-out and genuinely helpful advice, including stories shaped around your interests. Les Tisserrands is a centuries-old property in the middle of La Cambe, though it's peaceful, and you can spot it by the red lifebuoy on the wall. The local shops are within walking distance, and the D-Day beaches and related attractions are about an 8-10 minute drive away. The rooms have what you need, though there are no TVs or telephones. The shared bathroom is in the hallway and has a shower. Everything was clean and well looked after. Breakfast was fresh and generous, and there's a garden with seating in a lovely setting. The place has a distinctive atmosphere, and the price is very good for what you get. If you're visiting Normandy, stop by Les Tisserrands. John is a great host.

The owner is very friendly, though there are no keys for the rooms. Everyone shares one bathroom, and it wasn't very clean.

John was really friendly when we stayed in July, and our room was spacious and clean. He made us a spectacular breakfast. I hope you enjoyed the local tomatoes we brought you, John. I'd happily recommend staying here.
