The host, a French woman, gave me a room in her home and let me use the shower. Breakfast was included too. I felt really well looked after. If you’re passing through this little village, I’d definitely recommend staying here. The service was worth the money.

The photos on the site give a misleading impression, and getting in is slippery and dangerous. A wood stove sits right beside what’s called a sofa bed. There’s no blind on one window, so whoever sleeps on the lower bench gets woken by daylight or the outside detector light. The wall mounted crank for lowering a makeshift table from the ceiling is right against the bench, which feels unsafe. The miller’s ladder to the bedroom is fixed against the wall, with no safety at the stairwell. The bedroom ceiling is at most 1.50m high. There’s no smoke detector, and the cleaning was poor. It was a nightmare. Breakfast might be the only acceptable part.
