Le Gîte des Bateliers

The owner was really friendly, and the meal vouchers and breakfasts were generous and very good, with local and regional products. We stayed in the orchard cabin, an unusual tree house about 8m up, as a Christmas gift from our children. The cabin is thoughtfully laid out, nicely decorated, and well equipped with water and electricity. There’s a big terrace, though it wasn’t warm enough for us to enjoy it, which was a shame. The Finnish spa was a popular little extra at the end of the day. It’s set in a large park in the middle of nature, with plenty to do nearby.

The Nordic bath, tucked away from the autumn rain, was a delight. Inside, the cozy space and intimate lighting felt carefully thought through, right down to the layout and finishes. We had a lovely night at La Cabane du Verger, and the owner gave us a warm welcome. Thanks for everything.

The treehouse had running water and electricity, and was really comfortable. We loved unwinding in the Nordic bath that evening. Everything seemed designed to make the stay pleasant, right down to the little details. It was a fantastic night. I’d recommend this kind of adventure to anyone who wants a bit of adventure with some comfort too ☺️. We’ll definitely come back. Thanks again.

Peaceful and surrounded by greenery, the Verger cabin is well located. It’s perched 8 meters above the ground, and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. We were given a very warm welcome. A wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely do it again!
