It’s tucked away on a small island on the Loire, and the owners and staff are friendly, genuine, and easygoing. The rooms are basic but very clean. The dining choices are simple, though tasty, and breakfast is fine overall, even if the buffet could use a few more options. Traffic starts around 4 AM, but you won’t hear it with the windows closed.

The reception guy was cordial and very helpful, the rooms were OK, and breakfast was pretty good, especially the fresh fruit salad. The Wi-Fi, though, was completely hostile. Despite what the hotel said in its testy reply, nobody in our company could use it properly, whether on an iPhone or anything else. I had trouble connecting on my laptop, and the others had the same issue; even after four of us got connected, the connection was unusable. A complete joke. It probably wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but Orange was obsolete and highly inefficient in that area.

Right on the riverbank of THE LOIRE, and very conveniently located. The rooms are spacious and quiet, the garden is welcoming, and breakfast is tasty. Reception is always open, and the staff are helpful.

The staff were very friendly, and the place was clean despite the dated decor. I’ve only stayed one night so far, but I’m happy with the amenities, and the online description seems accurate.

Comfortable and clean for a reasonable price, with a good en suite shower. Breakfast costs a little much, though there’s a nice selection of breads, juice, fruit, yogurt, and hot drinks.
