We highly recommend this place. The house is beautiful, the owners made us feel very welcome, and our room was spacious, spotless and nicely decorated. Breakfast in the room was incredibly generous.

Breakfast was generous and varied, and Madame suggested some lovely walks. The owners were so welcoming, and our host was warm and helpful throughout. The stone building is superb, the room was spacious and spotless, and the setting is very pretty and well placed for sightseeing. We had a lovely stay from June 28th to 30th, 2021, and left with very fond memories. Thank you.

A peaceful place in a great spot for visiting Saintes, Oleron, Rochefort and the rest of this beautiful region. We were warmly welcomed, and had a pretty, characterful room that was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hearty and served in the room because of the health measures. Many thanks to Mrs. GAGNEPAIN!

Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and Mrs. Gagnepain gave us a very warm welcome. Even though we had to leave very early, she had breakfast ready for us in the room. The location is especially convenient on the road to Île d'Oléron, and since our children live nearby, we’ll certainly have the chance to return. Highly recommended.
