The location made the week for us. La Clusaz is close enough to walk to, Annecy is about half an hour away by car, and the chalet sits among cycling routes near the Col des Aravis, Col de la Croix-Fry, and the Col de la Colombière. It must be a wonderful skiing area in winter too. We stayed at Chalet StellaOne at La Clusaz, France, from 08/09/19 to 15/09/19 and loved it from the first minute. Karen and Christian welcomed us so warmly, almost like family, and the place had everything we needed to feel at home. It is a magnificent new larch house with beautiful finishes and decor. There is loads of space, yet it felt cozy for just the two of us. We made good use of the sauna, gym facilities, and the jacuzzi on one terrace. The garage was a big plus, with plenty of room for skis, and I had a safe place to keep my race bicycle. The house was a great place for our holiday. A big thank you again to Karen and Christian for sharing it with people who love this mountainous area. Young-Mi and Jean-Jacques.

There were six adults and seven children, and we still had room to spare 😘🥰😉. The chalet is warm, spacious, airy, and very clean, with a good layout, a sauna, and everything well equipped. Waking up to that mountain view was lovely. Thanks so much for everything.

The chalet itself is very comfortable: good design, lovely rooms, and amenities that all worked well, including the jacuzzi, sauna, TV, and even the WiFi coverage and speed, which stood out for ADSL in the age of remote work. Its sunny position made it easy to enjoy the sun all day. It is a little far from the ski area, if we're being picky, but we could still get there without too much trouble in ski boots. I definitely recommend the property. What made the stay unpleasant was the owner's cold manner. Her husband, by contrast, was friendly, pleasant, and ready to help. When our group of young adults, average age 35, arrived wanting to enjoy the mountains and party a little, she greeted us and said goodbye in a chilly, unpleasant way. During a rental, the chalet is technically the tenants' for that period, and deposits are there to cover possible damage. At this high price, which the service is worth without question, it works best when both sides play their part.

The only drawback is the layout: spread over four levels, the chalet isn't suitable for people with reduced mobility. Otherwise, it's beautiful and very well equipped, with a lovely open view and hardly any overlooking neighbors.

We had a really pleasant stay in this exceptional chalet. It was just right for unwinding in the quiet of beautiful La Clusaz. We highly recommend renting it.
