The couple who run this small, cozy place are friendly and truly helpful, and they cook tasty meals there too. It has about a dozen rooms. There’s no laundry service onsite, though a public laundromat is within walking distance. The rooms are clean, fairly new, well kept, and cleaned daily. Just don’t expect luxury or star-level facilities.

After one night here during our Camino walk, I can say this was the worst hotel of our trip. The manager was dismissive and no help, and the WiFi didn’t work. The lobby smelled of fish. The carpet looks about 20 years old, the furniture was shabby and torn, and the sheets were thin and pilled. Towels that used to be white had turned brownish. The place needs major renovation. I DO NOT recommend it.

The staff were the best waiters I’ve ever seen in a restaurant, and the food was exceptional. We stayed seven nights, and our room was very clean and well appointed. Looking forward to returning to the area and staying at Hotel de France. Thank you, Rudolf, and your exceptional staff.
